Legendary Indian cricketer and former India head coach Rahul Dravid was involved in a minor traffic incident in Bengaluru on Tuesday evening. A video circulating online shows Dravid engaged in a discussion with an auto-rickshaw driver following a collision between Dravid’s car and the auto. The incident reportedly occurred on Cunningham Road.
Reports suggest Dravid’s car was hit from behind by a goods auto while stationary in traffic. While the specifics remain unclear, Dravid reportedly obtained the auto driver’s contact information before departing. No injuries were reported.
The video of the discussion, which appears to have involved a disagreement about the incident’s cause, went viral on social media. Reports indicate that the discussion was calm and that no police complaint has been filed.
According to a post on X by Times of India Bengaluru, the collision was minor and resulted in a brief, civil discussion between Dravid and the driver. A Deccan Herald report corroborates this, stating the incident occurred around 6:30 PM and that no formal complaint was lodged. Dravid reportedly noted the auto driver’s phone number and registration details.
